Vote by Mail Request Period Ending for the November 8, 2016 General Election

LOS ANGELES – Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC) Dean C. Logan reminds L.A. County voters to request a Vote by Mail by Tuesday, Nov. 1st for the November 8th General Election.

The RR/CC has mailed 2,325,919 Vote by Mail ballots to voters across Los Angeles County.

Voters who wish to request a Vote by Mail ballot can:

Voters who applied for a Vote by Mail ballot can check the status of their ballot online at lavote.net.

There are over 70 Vote by Mail drop-off locations spread throughout the county. Find the nearest drop-off location by visiting lavote.net.

Beginning January 1, 2015 all Vote by mail ballots postmarked by Election Day will be counted if received within three (3) days by the by the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (E.C. § 3020).
